Confidence in the Economy Fell to the Lowest Level in 31 Years

I don’t like to talk politics in public.  Truth be told, I don’t even like to discuss politics at home but Unemployment breaks my heart. The number of people applying for unemployment benefits rose to 400,000 last week!  That’s a lot of people with no income, no freedom and if it were me in that line – NO HOPE!

But that doesn’t include more than 3.5 million people who receive extended benefits under emergency programs enacted by Congress. That’s a lot of people!   Yes, they are getting benefits, but is that really enough to live your dreams on?  Chances are none of these 3.7 million people make their mortgage with ease, travel where their desire takes them or sits back and thinks, “Wow!  I’ve finally made it.”

So, here is what I don’t get…

UNEMPLOYED + UNEMPLOYMENT = UNHAPPY

UNEMPLOYED BY SOMEONE ELSE = SELF EMPLOYED = HAPPY

Here is what I do get…

I have been with Isagenix for almost 5 years and I truly love this company.   I Love the atmosphere, the personal relationships and they have excellent products that me and my whole family use everyday. When I got started with the company, I admit, I was scared. After all, I was now in “business” for myself, right? Well, after many trials and errors I want to share with you some of the best parts of being self employed.

“I’m not selling anything.”

Don’t be fooled… In the end you are selling. If you don’t sell, you don’t make money. However, selling is a good skill that maybe you’ve already got and I feel really good about what I sell.  I know it works and I can make people HAPPY.  I also know that SELLING is not a four letter word and that those that “Sell” things are the ones that get the biggest pay checks.  No shame in that!

“I’m not Recruiting.”

Yes, I am.  I am one of the TOP RECRUITERS IN THE WORLD FOR ISAGENIX!  I have the blessing of an incredible gift to offer my friends, family and anyone else who wants to get out the unemployment line and listen.  The gift is income without limit, financial reward for effort without discrimination and the freedom to run my business anyway I want, when ever I want, where ever I want.

Don’t get me wrong and think it’s easy.  You do have to hustle if you want to build a large organization, but that part is up to you and not someone else like it is a regular 9 to 5. It’s your job to make connections, to follow-up with people and it takes effort.  The hardest part, everyone will respect your efforts and join you.  But here is the last word on that:

They don’t in any sales job and still people are lining up to get “SALES” jobs in this tight economy.

“This is MY Business.”

Although most MLM’s say you’re running your own business, you’re really in a partnership with the company.  They provide the products, resources, marketing tools, customer support and you provide the marketing strategy and the drive it takes to pound the pavement. You’re helping to build their brand and in return they are giving you a cut of the profits.

“I’m making money.”

Can you get rich in this industry? Short answer: YES! People have become millionaires in network marketing, however, it is not easy and most people never make it.  Isagenix has made 59 Millionaires and that number is set to more that double this year! Making it is not a matter of luck it’s a matter of commitment.  If you work it like a job – 9 to 5, 40 hours, taking real action you can make it.  The problem is most people think “SELF EMPLOYED” means  “Hobby” and hobbies cost $ they don’t make Money.

That’s really  at the heart of what I don’t get.  If you are unemployed anyway, without HOPE – Why not take action and become a self employed Network Marketer and  get back to making your DREAMS come true.

Motherhood Changes Everything

Motherhood really does change everything right down to who we are now that we are “MOM”.  Every women is different, but the reality is that we are never again the same as the people that we were before the birth of our first child. .

It’s a little like amnesia.  Parts of our past life get left behind and the new us emerges and there are new opportunities. The path that we might have been on may have change and certainly our ideas about who we are and what is really important to us has.

Here’s few Tips to help you Understand and Enjoy  the New You:

#1 Give yourself a Break.  At first it’s OK to just concentrate on Survival.

#2 Give-in to new urges.  Follow your new interests.   They may lead you to your next step.

#3 Take some Baby Steps. Set new priories and begin working toward your new goals.

The key is to accept where you are now. Start where you are and then nurture and grow into the new you.  It’s important to follow your interests.  Discovering yourself again and who you have become is about recognizing your new passion.

After the birth of  our first son.  My whole identity shifted and I found out that all of a sudden hated my job and that I wanted to stay home with my son.  It was more important than any of my career goals I had held in the past.  Fun how things change. lol

Four years later after the birth of our twins I found that I wanted to “get out” and “have my own identity”.  I still wanted to be a stay at home Mom but I wanted something that was my own.  I wanted to talk with adults.  Things changed again and I went back to work part time.

Two years later I found myself over worked and under paid and with a choice to make….  Go back to work full time and get paid what I’m worth but have no time for my family or I could continue to work part time, get paid hourly, make almost nothing and be frustrated by the incompetence of the full time person above me.

Things changed again and I opted out!  I opted not to work and have my own Identity too.  Here’s how it happened:

I quit working for some one else and started working for me. I entered Network Marketing.  It was more by accident at first then by conscious choice but soon it became obvious that I could make a lot more $ in Network marketing that in trading $ for Hours as  a personal trainer at the gym and maybe even more that I could if went back full time to run the place.

This was a huge revelation for me.  I learned that I could set my own hours, earn the income my family needed and be there for our kids.  With Network Marketing I have found what I was searching for as a mother and as a women.
