    Today is Day 5 of the Total Transformation Challenge.  So far, we have talked a lot about Obsticals.  They are ALL the things that in the past have gotten in your way and Stopped You From Reaching Your Goals.

    But..

    ALL that is in past!!!

    Now it’s time for change!

    It’s essential that you recognize how your old ways of thinking and acting have gotten you exactly where you are right now.  If you are not really happy with where you are in regards to your health right now, consider that thousands of people, including the belly above have already changed their lives as a result of implementing the rules of this challenge.

    Holly Sheds Business Suits For Freedom & Bikinis

    For years, Holly hid behind her business suit. The jacket covered the places she didn’t want to show and the power she felt wearing it made up for the insecurity she felt on the inside.

    Weighing 242 pounds,* she always knew that the person who showed up at the office wasn’t the “real” Holly, who was a formerly athletic “popular girl” in high school. But her false reality never sunk in deep enough for her to recognize how far away she had strayed away from her former, confident self.

    Then, she discovered Isagenix® while maintaining her high-stress (and high-paying) job in the corporate environment and became curious about the business side. She admits she was actually grateful when she was laid off from her job so she could pursue her Isagenix business full time.

    After committing to the 2010 IsaBody Challenge®, Holly hired a personal trainer who worked with many fitness competitors and was one herself, Lori H. Taking each day as it came, she focused on the products, listened to popular advice shared by top leaders such as Susan S. and began to watch as the scale dip backwards 10 pounds at a time, until she reached 52 pounds* lost during the Challenge. But, she still had one more goal to accomplish that she never thought was possible: compete in a fitness competition…in a bikini.

    “I decided in January that I could have the bikini body I wanted and could look hot in one,” shares Holly. “When I competed, it was a dream. I never thought in a million years I’d be doing a bikini competition.”

    She stuck to a strict training regimen that included running up to 15 miles a day, helping her to even overcome her previously-held belief that she disliked running.

    “I’ve never really been a runner, but now I’m a runner,” admits Holly. “Now I’ll be out running and literally do a check—does my body hurt? No. Am I breathing hard? No. That means I need to keep going. I really feel it’s because of the products.”

    When she finally walked across the stage in a teeny-bikini at her fitness competition in Florida, she says the experience was “awesome.” Now she’s committed to competing in even more fitness competitions and already plans to do another one in a few months in Las Vegas.

    Now 90 pounds lighter and seven dress sizes smaller,* Holly says she was able to cut out toxic relationships along the way and realize that she was also her own biggest critic and needed to drop her negative self-talk. The dream board she has posted in her room features the toned, athletic physique of a fitness model (accomplished) and the goal to reach 5 Star Golden Circle (now at a 3 Star Golden Circle).

    Crowned the 2010 IsaBody Challenge Grand Prize Winner and the first-ever female winner, Holly says she’s proud of what she’s accomplished and knows she’s on the pathway to accomplishing and creating even bigger dreams.

    “My world has literally changed,” says Holly. “Everything that has happened has given me the confidence to do what I want and make it happen.”

    Holiday Challenge Prep Day 6 

    The Official Start of The Holiday Challenge is just around the corner!  Are you ready for Tuesday?  Have you invited your friends   Remember, ALL it takes is an email to Gabby@CleanseMyself.com

    Yesterday you received your tracking sheets.  Make sure that you have printed ALL of these sheets and we suggest that you post them on your fridge.  Also, if you have not done so already, take your before and after pictures, take your measurements and figure out your BMI.

    During the Holiday Challenge you will be encouraged to Sleep, Eat, Drink and Exercise “Right”!  All things that we know we should do, but often we don’t.  During the Holiday Challenge WE WILL!  

    TODAYS TASK:   It’s Time! Go on a SHOPPING SPREE!  Let’s go through the list of things you need to do before starting the Challenge Starts.

    Do you have everything you will need for the challenge?

    How are you doing at cutting back on unhealthy foods?

    Have you talked with friends and family about supporting you through your exciting transformation?

    If you said yes, GREAT JOB! If you have not yet completed these tasks, then get on it!   

    Today, let’s go food shopping. Shop for the foods that you placed on your list that first day and remove tempting, unhealthy foods from your home. Before you hit the market, give away or throw out unhealthy foods that may lead you to stray from the Challenge.

    OK! Let’s go shopping for fresh, whole foods and produce—organic is preferred.  Have fun with this shopping experience. Try new fruits and vegetables on your Shake Days. On Cleanse Days, unsalted almonds, fruits and vegetables that are low on the glycemic scale are a must: Think apples, berries, pears, broccoli and celery.

    Here’s what you will need during the Holiday Challenge:

    Essential for All Days: 

    80 oz of Pure water (bottled or purified with a filter) EVERY DAY 

    20 Minutes or more of Exercise EVERYDAY

    8 HOURS of Sleep EVERY NIGHT

    Meals Ideas: 

    Lean protein, fish or organic tofu

    Eggs (Free-range, omega-rich eggs preferred)

    Organic vegetables, such as broccoli, green beans, lettuce and tomatoes

    Whole grains, such as brown rice and barley 

    Frozen Dinners by Kashi or Amy’s Organics

    Snack Ideas:   Losing weight is not easy.  It takes effort and commitment.  To ward off the hungries on Shake Days, having fresh and easy snacks that are low cal and healthy is essential.  Try these yummy favorite:

    • 1 cup plain nonfat yogurt topped with 1 Tbsp. IsaCrunch
    • ½ cup 1% fat cottage cheese topped with 1 Tbsp.  3 slivered raw almonds or 4 cherry tomatoes
    • 1 hard boiled egg with no salt
    • 10 raw almonds soaked in water in the fridge over night
    • Whole wheat sesame flat bread  topped with ½ Tbsp. all-natural peanut butter
    • 3 oz. tuna or salmon, packed in water, served with 1 sliced plum tomato and drizzled with fresh lemon juice
    • ½ cup steel-cut oats topped with ½ cup fresh berries
    • 1 cup blueberries, strawberries or raspberries and 1 brown rice cake
    • ½ cup red and yellow pepper, celery, or carrot strips dipped into  4 Tbsp. humus
    • 1 cup mixed melon balls (cantaloupe, watermelon and honeydew) topped with 1/4 cup nonfat vanilla yogurt
    • 1 brown rice cake topped with ½ Tbsp. raw almond butter
    • ½ a sliced apple or pear with 5 walnut halves
    • 1 navel orange with ½ cup nonfat plain yogurt
    • Also try IsaDelights, Isagenix Fiber Snacks and Isagenix Slim Cake Cookies!
    Cleanse Day Support Options:  The less snaking the better but if you have to here are a few options-

    The Turkey Challenge is only 11 Days long!

    How Much Can We Accomplish?

    Well, we are about to find out.  Here’s How to Earn Points:

    Stick to It: For Best Results-Journal/Keep-Track/Write-Down your intake.  Did you Stick to It today?  Did you stay on your Isagenix Program?  Shake Days- 2 Shakes and 600 calories.  Cleanse Days- 4 Cleanse Drinks and min. of 200 additional snacking calories. Or if you are not on Isagenix, did you stay within 200-300 calories for breakfast 300-400 calories for lunch and 500-800 additional calories for the rest of your meals and snacks?   If you did you get a 🙂

    H2O:  You need to Drink 80 oz of Water everyday!  If you did you get a 🙂

    Sleep:  You need 8 Hours of Sleep every night!  If you did you get a 🙂

    Exercise:  You need at least 20 Minutes of exercise everyday!  If you did you get a 🙂

    Weight:  You need to Weigh everyday at the same time!  If you did you get a 🙂

      ½ cup red and yellow pepper, celery, or carrot strips dipped into  4 Tbsp. humus
      1 cup mixed melon balls (cantaloupe, watermelon and honeydew) topped with 1/4 cup nonfat vanilla yogurt

    Isagenix’s Living Dream Team Turkey Cleanse Day 5 

     

    We made it to Day 5 of the LVDT Turkey Cleanse!!!!!
    Congratulations to all of you that are joining us on this 9 Day Isagenix Cleanse!
    Days 5 – 8 are all Shake Days:

     

    Shake Days

    AM 1 -2 ounces Ionix Supreme (not included in a 9 day cleanse)

    8:00  Shake and Nat. Accelerator

    12:00  Isagenix Snack (Optional) and Nat. Accelerator

    1:30  400 – 600 Calorie Meal

    4:00  Isagenix Snack (Optional)

    6:00  Shake

    8:00  Isagenix Snack (Optional)

    9:00  1-2 Isa Flush (not included in a 9 day cleanse)

     

    Remember that this schedule is a guideline and can be flexible.  If the times don’t work for you, swithch things around. Isagenix only works if you can stick to it, so if it does not work for you make it fit your schedule.
    Also, consider breaking up the 600 calorie meal.  For example, try having a 400 calorie dinner with your family.  That means you will still have 200 calories to play with through out the day.  You will have enough calories left over to try an apple at lunch time and a few raw nuts in the evening.
    The shakes can be broken up too.  If you are used to many meals spread out through out the day – split up your shake.  Instead of 2 scoops 2 times per day, try 1 scoop 4 times per day.

    I am starting the cleanse Monday … Few questions … I would like my cleanse days to be Monday n Tuesday so can I do the pre cleanse for 1 day instead of two ?  And then only do 4 shake days to get my cleanse days on a Monday or Tuesday?
    Sure, keep it flexable. Make it fit your life so that you can stick to it.
    Yes, you can pre cleanse for just one day. But why?  You will have an extra shake day on the end of your program.
    Here is what that plan looks like:
    Shake Sun, Cleanse M + T, Shakes W – SUN (5 Days), Cleanse M + T, Shake W.
    It sounds like a good plan.
    You will do well.

    I am starting the plan Monday so I will pre cleanse Monday 1 day ..  cleanse Tuesday and Wednesday and then do the shakes from Thursday to sunday 4 days and cleanse Monday and Tuesday to get on a cleNse schedule of Monday to start my 30 day program … ;-$ is that ok ?
    It will be a little tougher this way, but your result should be the same.
    I think you can do it.  Talking to you, I know you are really ready for this.
    Sticky to the program and not cheating is the key.
    Have you got some meals planed yet?

    Why would it be tougher this way ?
    Yes I have took some ideas from the menu u sent over and I will use them or brown rice and beans … Very simple basic and whole grains or veggies … But for the most part I will haveing hummus , tofu , brown rice , beans , or salad   Thanx again
    Tougher because the pre cleanse days give you the nutrients you need to be really healthy going to the cleanse days.  Also, the 5 shake days are easy compared to the cleanse days.  Making it just 4, will cut down on the number of ‘easy days’.
    However, you are unique.  You know, most people do not eat as healthy as you do and are not as mentally prepared for the cleanse days the way you are.  I can’t wait until you start.  It’s fun working with you because you are so committed.  Most people are looking for cheats and have all kinds of excuses.  You are determined. Keep me updated.
    Also, I don’t know if I told you this, but I used Amy’s organic frozen meals when I first started.  They counted the calories for me, provided variety and they were yummy.

    I might so two pre cleanse days them and only 3 shake days then cleanse again but whatever is best I will do I go back to work next weds so I am trying to make my cleanse days Mon n Tuesday so when I go to work I can eat n not feel deprived … If u have any suggestions let me know .. I plan on starting Monday ! So I have from now till to Monday to figure out the days n plan it ! Thanx soo much
    Do the first plan.  1 pre Cleanse day, 2 Cleanse Days, 4 shake days, 2 cleanse days, 2 shake days.  This will work.
    Hey, I checked out the amys organic meals and some if not most are higher in fat then I expected … Most of them are 12 gms of fat or more … Is that ok ?
    It’s is exactly what I used on my first 9 day.

    Ok I just picked some up but they r high in sodium too ! Is that ok??
    Yeah.  They are a little high in sodium, but they worked for me.  Salt really can make you hold water, but the amount in one meal will not effect you.
    Here is the math- There’s about 780 mg in the Amy’s meal in my fridge.  In each shake there’s about 115mg.   So, that’s 780 + 230 = 1010mg per day.  The recommended daily allowance of sodium is between 1,500 and 2,400 milligrams (mg) a day for healthy adults. Keep in mind that the lower your sodium, the more beneficial effect on blood pressure and the less water you will retain.
    So, 1010 sounds safe.

    I am on a diet. What can I snack on? 

    Losing weight is not easy.  It takes effort and commitment.

    To ward off the hungries, having fresh and easy snacks that are low cal and healthy is essential.

    Try these yummy favorites:

    1 cup plain nonfat yogurt topped with 1 Tbsp. IsaCrunch

    ½ cup 1% fat cottage cheese topped with 1 Tbsp.  3 slivered raw almonds or 4 cherry tomatoes

    1 hard boiled egg with no salt

    10 raw almonds soaked in water in the fridge over night

    Whole wheat sesame flat bread  topped with ½ Tbsp. all-natural peanut butter

    3 oz. tuna or salmon, packed in water, served with 1 sliced plum tomato and drizzled with fresh lemon juice

    ½ cup steel-cut oats topped with ½ cup fresh berries

    1 cup blueberries, strawberries or raspberries and 1 brown rice cake

    You do need 6 IsaSnacks daily when deep cleansing period. Non Negotiable! 

    IsaDelights are sold as an additional health benefit. I always say 2 daily because if I say 3, most people will have 5. Use your head and reflect on why your cleansing, not to eat, but to take advantage of maximum effects the cleanse offers.

    Shoving More and More items in your mouth is not what you want during a cleanse. For the life of me, I can not explain the instructions saying to eat EGGS, SALAD, CELERY, ETC, this is crazy. Its not my original plan!

    Bottom Line;
    There are two ways being taught, the new Isagenix way, and
    John Anderson’s way

    Both are safe, both will provide different result.
    Isagenix current instructions are NOT aggressive, Mine ARE.
